Sermon Discussion Questions

Thanks, Scott & Gabrielle, for these questions! 1.       Why was Zacchaeus so interested in Jesus? 2.       Brad mentioned that the disciples had failed to “see” Jesus, but that Zacchaeus gets it. Are there ways in our lives that we fail to see Jesus or fail to get the big picture? How can we be more…

Sermon Discussion Questions

Thanks for these questions, Nathan! 1. Brad talked about recovering the shock value of this passage, arguing that we don’t react as readers of Jesus’ day would have. Sermon Discussion Questions

Thank you, Nathan Branahl, for these questions! 1. Brad said, “In Christianity, the question is not, ‘Are you good enough?’, but rather ‘Are you lost enough?’.” What evidence is there in our lives that suggests we understand this? What can we do to change the perception that Christianity is simply the religion for the righteous?…
