All Saints Presbyterian Church All Saints Presbyterian Church
All Saints Presbyterian Church began in 1994 as a mission church of the Rocky Mountain Presbytery, a part of the Presbyterian Church in America. Services began on the west side of Boise, meeting at Centennial High School. Because of this geographical location, the name chosen for the mission church was Valley West Presbyterian Church.

Two years later, the status of mission church changed to a particular church and Valley West became part of the Northwest Presbytery. Between 1997 and 2002, Valley West was served by two pastors: Rev. Terry Crahen (1997-1999) and Rev. Philip Hardin (2000-2002). During 2001, Valley West began meeting at Boise State University.

In April 2002, the church called Brad Chaney to become its pastor. The church has gained continuity under Brad's leadership as well as the 2002 ordination of Dr. Dirk Carlson, who joined Brad, and Dr. Shelton Woods in making up the elders of Valley West. Also, in 2004 the Whitney Friends Church graciously allowed Valley West to use its facilities.

Through much prayer, study, godly advice, and dialogue the vision of Valley West was clarified and presented to the congregation in October 2005. This included a conscious choice to seek a location close to downtown Boise. Through the proclamation of the Word, use of multiple musicians and instruments in God-centered worship, and weekly administration of the sacraments we desire to positively influence the heart of Boise's political, cultural, and academic setting. Subsequently, we changed the name of the church to All Saints Presbyterian Church.
